How have you reduced carbon emissions so significantly?
We’ve achieved an 80% reduction in our operational carbon footprint since 2020 through a combination of targeted projects and long-term planning.

- Moving all our data centres to 100% renewable electricity.
- Replacing legacy cooling systems with high-efficiency units (delivering a 26% energy saving in our largest site).
- Deploying all-flash storage arrays from Pure Storage, which consume up to 85% less energy than traditional spinning disks.
Do you help customers meet their own ESG targets?
Yes. We work with customers to design technology solutions that actively reduce their environmental impact, from cloud migrations that eliminate on-premises hardware emissions to collaboration tools that reduce travel and recycling end-of-life hardware. We also support ESG reporting by providing detailed performance metrics for the services we manage.

How do you measure and report ESG performance?
We capture detailed metrics on carbon emissions, energy usage, waste, water use and recycling rates annually, using third-party validation where possible. These are shared with customers, partners, and other stakeholders in transparent reports, enabling accountability and continuous improvement.
What social impact programmes do you run?
Our SIPs range from digital inclusion projects like skills training, as well as offering all colleagues 24 hours of paid volunteering time each year, which has supported activities from charity fundraising to community building projects.
How do you ensure strong governance and compliance?
We embed governance and compliance into every stage of service delivery. This means regular audits, risk assessments, and supply chain due diligence to ensure that vendors meet our ethical and operational standards. Our annual EcoVadis rating reflects this commitment, placing us in the top 25% of companies assessed globally.
Are your ESG commitments applied across the supply chain?
Yes, our largest suppliers are assessed on environmental performance, labour standards, and governance practices before engagement. We prioritise partnerships with vendors that share our commitment to ethical IT practices and sustainable delivery.
How does sustainability fit into technology projects?
For us, sustainability in IT is a design principle, not an afterthought. We optimise solutions for energy efficiency, right-sizing workloads, and minimising waste.
Do you have a net zero target?
We aim to reach net zero by 2045, and met our Paris Agreement, 42% reduction target in 2022. These targets are underpinned by regular measurement and a long-term plan.
